Certified Native English Teacher | General and Business English | IELTS & Cambridge Prep Hello! My name is Shannon and I’m a native English tutor from Scotland, currently living in Spain. I’m an approachable and empathetic tutor who believes that learning a language should be engaging, effective and fun. I have over 3 years of experience teaching English to both adults and teenagers both in-person and online. I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology and Counselling and a Level 5 TEFL Diploma. I have experience teaching conversational classes, General English, Business English for working professionals and Exam Preparation (PET, FCE, CAE & IELTS). My main goal is to help you speak more confidently in English. Lessons will include a variety of different exercises including structured grammar practice, vocabulary building, pronunciation work, or just general conversation. We will look at language used by native speakers including phrasal verbs, idiomatic expressions and natural expressions. As a fellow language learner (currently learning Spanish), I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language and hope that I can help you become more confident speaking English from day one. Book a lesson with me so we can talk about your goals and create a learning plan that works for you.
