Hi, My name is Motoe from Osaka, Japan. I live in Turkiye right now. I have lived in the UK, Botswana, Tokyo, and Osaka. My hobby is hand crafting like crochet, and I can talk about anime or manga. I am reading manga almost every day. Except for Italki, I am working as a freelance web graphic designer.

I have limited experience as a Japanese instructor, but I can offer a variety of topics. I have given over 10 lectures as a guest speaker to students ranging from elementary to high school, sharing my volunteer experiences in Botswana.

Motoe Sensei has really helped me get to grips with beginner's Japanese. But she also explains real life situations and alternative sentences which is helpful for travel, you feel prepared for your trip. The lessons go by so fast, I am having great fun, thanks Motoe!

I have had a few lessons with Motoe now and she has really helped me with my Japanese. She is very patient as I am a complete beginner. She corrects my mistakes. I would recommend her if you want a patient and calm teacher.

I highly recommend Motoe-Sensei as a Japanese teacher. I have been learning Japanese A1 with her using the Irodori textbook and workbook at my own pace, and it has been a great experience. She explains things clearly, is very patient, and always makes sure I understand before moving on. Motoe-Sensei is friendly, professional, and truly cares about helping her students learn. I’m really glad to have had the chance to study with her.
