Since 2020, I’ve been helping students from beginners to intermediate levels understand the language’s core components, including the alphabet, pronunciation, grammar, and conversation. My teaching style is interactive, engaging, and adaptable to different learning preferences.

I wanted a one-time 1-hour lesson just to learn a couple phrases so I could try to order a meal at the Somali restaurants that I will be visiting next week. I started at zero, knowing no Somali at all, but I came away feeling like I can go in and greet the owners and read a little of the menu! Fardosa’s explanations are very clear and organized, and she is lovely and warm. I really enjoyed the lesson; I just needed this little crash course, but Fardosa is such a good teacher, it makes me want to learn more.
