Lu Sun

I had such a wonderful first Chinese lesson with Lu Sun. She is a kind, patient, and encouraging teacher. The lesson was dynamic - she even made learning to count from 1-100 memorable and fun by playing a game. I am looking forward to our next lesson together.

I started from scratch, and what we’ve achieved together in just 20 lessons has gone far beyond my expectations! Her lessons are delivered with great professionalism: she’s clear, precise, always attentive, and corrects every mistake in a kind and thoughtful way. Each session is well-structured, as is the supporting material provided for independent review.

I started lessons after taking a few years off from Chinese, and had forgotten a lot. In our first lesson, she quickly figured out my level and adjusted our lessons so they felt manageable while still challenging. Every class is well-prepared, with new grammar and vocabulary, and occasional review of older material so I don't forget any concepts we have learned. I also like that she gives weekly homework, which helps me practice between lessons. She’s always positive and encouraging, and I definitely feel like I have made good progress since my first lesson! Would highly recommend.

After finishing 10 lessons, I couldn’t be more satisfied. I started learning Chinese from scratch, almost by chance, and the teacher truly made me grow passionate about it. She is always punctual, 100% focused during the lesson, and extremely kind. Each class is well-structured but also flexible. She adapts the lesson to my needs, like focusing on listening when she noticed it was one of my weak points, always in a positive and encouraging way.
