Hallo! I’m Tijn, a 21-year-old Dutch tutor with a passion for turning language struggles into laughter-filled learning experiences. Living my best life, I thrive on adventure—whether it’s traveling to new places, devouring delicious food, (i never gain weight) or diving into the depths of different languages. As someone who loves to connect with people from all walks of life, I bring that same energy to my lessons. My teaching style? Super chill, endlessly patient, and sprinkled with jokes to make Dutch feel less like a puzzle and more like a fun chat with a friend.Me as a Teacher
I am a relaxed teacher, i have alot of patience and a relaxing voice. I like to have fun with my students and laugh alot, make you feel comfortable. I empathize in my students and understand its hard to learn a new language, especially one of the most horrible one's like dutch. But i like to keep going and see progression. I take all the time we need. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are relaxed, i take all the time we need and i am not in a hurry. If you have a lesson for 30 minutes and we take 40 minutes, i will not make problems. I will always try to make you feel comfortable and make the lessons more like you want it and like it. I will provide quizzes, and if you want it, i will provide personal homework and assignments, I can show you videos, audio's and pictures, just tell me whats best for you and we will do it.My teaching material

Tijn is een plezier lessen mee te nemen. Hij gebruikt hedendaagse termen en uitdrukkingen om mijn Nederlands te verbeteren. Zijn kennis en uitlegging en het Engels is behoorlijk goed. Tijn is heeft een passie voor leren en is heel betrouwbaar. Bedankt voor jouw werk, en dus laat je een prachtige beoordeling achter!

Tijn is an energetic and passionate teacher who truly enjoys what he does. He listens carefully to his students’ goals and tailors the lessons accordingly. In our first class, he took notes about my objectives and organized the lesson in a fun and engaging way. He creates a relaxed atmosphere where you don’t feel tense, so it’s easy to speak freely and make mistakes without fear. I definitely recommend him!

Tijn is zo’n vriendelijke en geduldige docent! Hij maakt de lessen altijd leuk en flexibel, waardoor Nederlands leren nooit stressvol voelt.
