I'm Lassi — your go-to guy for speaking Finnish like a real local!
I’m a native Finnish speaker, born and raised in Finland. I’ve lived in many places across the country, but I’ve spent most of my life in Kuopio — so you might catch a slight Savonian touch in my speech. Otherwise, my Finnish is clear, fluent, and easy to understand.
These days, I live on the sunny island of Cyprus. In my free time, I enjoy relaxing at the beach, playing volleyball, and learning Russian with the help of my Ukrainian wife.Me as a Teacher
I’m a native Finnish speaker and I speak English at an advanced level. I’m also a language learner myself, so I understand what you’re going through. Learning something new—especially Finnish—isn’t easy! 😅

Today's lesson was so much fun! I brought in some Savon related phrases and Lassi helped me understand them better. He also helped me better learn how to say these sorts of phrases in standard Finnish, which would have been really difficult for me to otherwise decode myself.
