Let's get you talking! Qualified German teacher & learning coach from Austria I’m Sandra, a qualified teacher from Austria with eight years’ experience. In our first lesson I find out two things: what you need German for, and how you learn best. As a trained learning coach, I notice whether you work better visually, through listening, through writing or through talking – and I build the lessons around that. From then on, you speak from the very first minute. We work with real material – your own texts, emails, job ads – and I explain grammar where it’s blocking you, not because it’s next in a book. I correct selectively so the conversation keeps flowing, and you get the key points in writing afterwards. And you should enjoy it. You learn much faster when you’re relaxed, when you’re allowed to make mistakes, and when there’s room to laugh. I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Education, teach at a vocational school, and am also a trained dyslexia specialist. Right now I’m training in teaching German as a foreign and second language at the Goethe-Institut. I teach German from A1 to C1: everyday German, German for work, and exam preparation. I’m learning Swedish and Spanish myself, so I know exactly how it feels on the other side of the screen. Ich bin Sandra, ausgebildete Lehrerin aus Österreich.
