I look forward to Nana's lessons. Nana is patient, kind, and encouraging. She allows you to go at your own pace, with thoughtful explanations, and after the lesson I received detailed notes from the reading to review and learn from.
It has been so helpful to try reading with Nana in addition to the usual study methods: I'm getting practice with pronunciation, I'm learning common usage and expressions, and even gaining some cultural insights as well. Most importantly, reading manga with her has been a lot of fun!

My lesson with Nana San was great. She speaks English really well, and did a great job of adjusting the difficulty and frequency of the Japanese that she spoke to my skill level. The lesson was fun, informative and not at all intimidating. I can tell that I will learn a lot with her.

Nana is very patient and easy to understand. Often when trying to speak Japanese, it can be hard to listen since the language can be very fast. But Nana spoke very clearly and went as a speed I could understand better. We also had great conversations and it was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to the next one!
