Let's feel confident speaking French together! Bonjour ! Je suis Juliette, architecte française passionnée par les langues et les voyages. Originaire de Strasbourg, j’ai vécu à Shanghai et vis maintenant au Japon — une expérience qui enrichit mes cours de français ! J’aide les étudiants à parler avec confiance, que ce soit pour voyager, travailler ou simplement échanger. Ensemble, rendons l’apprentissage vivant et utile ! While I’m relatively new to teaching, I’m eager to help you improve your French through personalized, fun, and practical lessons tailored to your goals — whether it’s conversational practice or learning for travel and work. I can speak English, which helps me explain concepts clearly, especially if you’re an English speaker. Je débute dans l’enseignement, mais je suis enthousiaste à l’idée de vous aider à progresser en français grâce à des cours personnalisés, ludiques et concrets — que vous souhaitiez pratiquer la conversation ou apprendre le français pour voyager ou travailler. Je parle couramment anglais, ce qui facilite les explications, surtout si vous êtes anglophone. Our lessons will mostly be relaxed conversations on divers subjects, from daily conversations to job interview simulation, depending on your needs. If you’re interested in long-term learning, feel free to message me — I’ll be happy to find a schedule that works for both of us! Nos leçons seront surtout des conversations tranquilles sur divers sujets. Si vous souhaitez un suivi à long terme, n’hésitez pas à m’écrire — je serai ravie...

Juliette is fun to work with and she has a wonderful personality. I would suggest her for those wanting to learn French from a native speaker.

Went through a super useful listening exercise from the textbook today. One where I knew most of the words so vocabulary wasn’t the main obstacle. Rather it was the information density and having to listen between the lines. Thank you Juliette for being super patient and never just telling me the answer. Instead she let me replay the audio again and again (at least 20 times I reckon), and gives me hints until I can figure out the answer myself. Super helpful for training the listening ear. Merci beaucoup!!

Juliette is such an amazing individual to chat with in French. After such a heavy week of work, I close my week with a positive, relaxed, interesting, and engaging conversation. I learn something interesting about the French language, culture in every class. We need more teachers like Juliettes in the world that offer sessions with compassion, no judgement, and fun!

As always we started off the lesson with a short conversation about our week. She picked up that I was having trouble expressing the the idea of "bring" and give a quick overview amener, ramener, apporter, rapporter, emmener, emporter, récupérer and their differences. I really like that she picks up on little things like this, links it up commonly used words/ expression and always brings in any relevant context e.g. she'd explain emporter and additionally say "à emporter" would mean take away. We then moved onto the listening exercise on different French expressions across different countries. Juliette also then send over a list of French expressed used and we went over the interesting/ commonly used ones. As always thank you for the lesson and looking forward to our next one!
