Hi! I'm Sylwia — a native Polish speaker with a love for languages and a background in English philology. I've been living in the UK for a while now, where I enjoy teaching and sharing my passion for languages with others. Outside of work, I'm a huge fan of Japanese literature and alternative music. I'm currently in my 30s and recently decided to dive deeper into my interests by starting Japanese studies. Over the years, many of my friends have asked me to teach them Polish—and I found that I not only enjoyed it, but also had a knack for explaining things clearly. After helping several people learn Polish informally, I realized it’s something I’d love to do professionally.Me as a Teacher

I love my lessons with Sylwia! She is warm, patient and supportive. Each week she is well prepared with new lesson ideas that meet me right where I am in my learning journey. She consistently follows each lesson with a summary of what we covered so that I can study it during the week. I have so much fun talking with her that it keeps me motivated to keep learning Polish. Highly recommended!

Sylwia is an excellent teacher. She has tailored our classes to my exact level of proficiency. I am an able to comprehend the lesson while at the same time challenging me to get better. Most importantly she is very nice, easy to communicate with and she makes the lessons enjoyable.
