Energetic and Warm Certified TEFL Instructor with 7 years teaching experience Hello, my name is Tamara and I am from Colorado in the USA. I have been a Middle School Special Education Teacher for the past 7 years and am taking a break to give myself more flexibility to travel. I enjoy creating positive relationships with my students and watching each student grow in a curious and engaging learning environment. I love reading, learning, traveling, hiking, drinking coffee, and spending time with my loved ones. I can't wait to meet you and be a part of your learning journey! I have 7 years of teaching in a public school in the USA. I taught middle school special education, which allowed me to teach English, Math, Science and Social Studies. I have an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and a Masters Degree in Reading Education. I am currently getting my TEFL certification and am enjoying expanding my knowledge on the English Language. My teaching is adaptable to student need, engaging, fun and based on your interests. I am especially strong at teaching reading and writing. I love teaching students of all ages. My lessons are specially designed and tailored to each student based on needs and goals. I want our learning sessions together to be valuable and productive to each student. I celebrate mistakes as I believe they are opportunities for growth. I enjoy conversations about many topics and am happy to provide a range of experiences from formal planned lessons to more informal conversation practice.

Tamara est très patiente, souriante et bienveillante. Elle sait vraiment mettre en confiance et s’intéresse à beaucoup de sujets, ce qui rend les échanges naturels et agréables. On apprend avec plaisir, sans pression. Je la recommande vivement !
