Dutch for expats — Practical lessons for daily life & work Hi! I’m Arjen, a native Dutch tutor. Since 2017 I’ve helped expats and professionals speak Dutch with confidence. My lessons are calm, clear and practical. We focus on speaking, pronunciation and simple grammar with vocabulary you can use immediately at work and in daily life. Mistakes are welcome—that’s how we learn. Step by step, we build skills and confidence. I’m structured, patient and results-oriented. I listen to your goals and turn them into small, achievable steps. Expect concrete feedback, brief explanations and plenty of speaking time. I teach adults A0–B2 and also help with emails, meetings and presentations. My background teaching Persian trained me to keep lessons clear, friendly and effective. Expect lots of speaking (role-plays, real-life tasks), targeted pronunciation work, and short grammar points with instant practice. When helpful, I use the TaalCompleet/TaalSterk structure, plus my own materials. You’ll get a simple study plan, time-friendly homework and regular progress checks. Goals may be work, integration, relocation or exams—every lesson is tailored.
