Mila

Mila is possibly the best teacher I have ever had on Italki. She is very engaging, the conversation is interesting and she keeps in mind the learning goals of the student. I would heartily recommend her for anyone trying to learn Spanish.

That was such a strong first lesson with Mila! She was super well-prepared, and took advantage of the different Italki tools to help me follow along, illustrate the important points and help me to improve. She was really fun and patient with me, whenever I got lost, and I never felt uncomfortable taking my time to construct my sentences. Whenever she helped me with my accent, she gave really specific examples and helped reinforce those good habits. I really look forward to my next lesson!

Had a weekend day off and a little spare time so asked for a lesson with Mila to help me with some Spanish practice as a one off lesson/ practice. She is good, arrived on schedule. Very encouraging in having me practice speaking and asked early on if I would prefer corrections in real time or after I have spoken for some time. It would be difficult to plan a lesson with a student that you haven't met before but I thought she did well focusing on my errors to help me learn. I had a good practice, learnt some new phrases and ideas that I can take forward. Sound quality was good. I recommend.

I’m definitely noticing progress in my speaking after just a few lessons with Mila. I feel more confident and can talk about a wider range of topics. Mila is very helpful and encouraging, and she teaches me better, more natural-sounding ways to express myself.

Mila is incredibly patient and helpful. She helps me build phrases and sentences when I struggle and I feel comfortable making mistakes because she corrects them in a friendly and supportive way.
