Hi, I'm Catherine and I love languages. Simply because through them I can get to communicate and know people from other countries and cultures. I love to make new friends. I try to live a creative and happy life every day, and I always wear a smile, I can't help it. I've traveled to Cuba, Norway, Canada, Switzerland and France. I'm originally from the Dominican Republic and I live in the United States.Me as a Teacher
When I was young, some of my favorite subjects in school were languages. I always found English or French class time exciting, I was always looking forward to these classes. Other great experiences in my youth where when a friend from another country would come to visit and we would share our language knowledge. It was fun. My teaching style would be informal and mostly conversational. We can talk about everyday life. For my lessons, I first would want to know what my students want but I can also prepare fun subjects to talk about.5.0

Taking this class with Cathy felt like talking with an old friend. So much so, my class was over before I knew it. In that one hour, i felt very comfortable(I am normally very nervous engaging in spanish conversation) and learned quite a bit. Looking forward to my next class!
