Native Dutch speaker based in Tokyo! 日本語OK！ Do you understand more Dutch than you can actually say out loud? Maybe you freeze mid-sentence, or the second you try, the other person switches to English — so you never really get to practice. That's exactly what I help with. I help learners go from understanding Dutch in their head to speaking it out loud with confidence. Our lessons are a relaxed, no-judgment space to practice real, natural Dutch, where nobody switches to English on you and mistakes are just part of getting better. Here's how I work: we talk about real topics at your level, I correct the errors that come up most often without killing your flow, and we build a personal vocabulary and phrase list that we revisit each lesson so it actually sticks. Within a few weeks you'll notice yourself reaching for words faster and hesitating less. Lessons fit your goal — daily life in the Netherlands or Belgium, work, travel, or just chatting with Dutch friends and family. Whether you're a nervous beginner or an intermediate stuck on the "I understand but can't speak" plateau, we'll build a plan around you. A bit about me: I'm a software engineer by background, and years of breaking down complex concepts for students and junior colleagues taught me to explain things simply and patiently. I bring that same clarity to Dutch — structured when you want structure, relaxed when you just need to talk. Book a trial and let's get you speaking. Tot snel! 👋

Ho adorato le lezioni con Ach. Mi ha aiutata moltissimo con la pronuncia, con la grammatica, con il vocabolario, ma soprattutto è stato in. grado di creare uno spazio accogliente, è stato sempre molto paziente e mi ha dato ampio spazio per riflettere e formulare le frasi. Inoltre è molto simpatico, intelligente e parlare con lui è davvero un piacere. 10/10!
