I have taught English since 2011, in Canada, Ukraine and China, dealing with various levels and age groups. Most notably, I designed a course to prepare students for academic writing requirements in Western universities. I moved on to teaching English for Academic Purposes for the offshore branch of a prominent Canadian college. They were starting a partnership with a college in China, which I became a part of. My most recent experience was teaching individual and group lessons in-house, at the Ukrainian office of an IT company based in Boston. I taught employees in various departments on and offline, helping them achieve their professional language goals. My lessons & teaching style
I teach all levels, based on a variety of materials, based on student preferences. I can take you through a structured course based on any CEFR level, or we can start with a conversation, identify specific language areas to practice, and work on them together. I've recently used AI to help me personalize individual practice based the student's interests. Whatever the student's preference, my goal is to maximize their practice towards achieving their language goals.My teaching material
