Hello! My name is Seonhye, and you can call me Sunny.
I am a Korean language teacher from Korea.
I live in the United States with my family.
I have a Korean Language Teaching Certificate.
In Korea, I worked as a special education teacher and a childcare teacher.
I have experience teaching both children and adults.
I like teaching Korean language and Korean culture.
I welcome anyone who wants to learn Korean.
Beginners and more advanced students are all welcome.Me as a Teacher
As a language learner myself, I understand how it feels to learn a new language.
Because of this, I am patient and supportive as a teacher,
and I try to make learning fun and comfortable.
I enjoy teaching both children and adults.
For children, I teach at their level in a gentle and friendly way.
For adults, I help them work toward their personal learning goals.
I use standard Korean textbooks as a base for my lessons.
Lessons are adjusted based on each student’s level and interests.
My goal is to help students learn Korean in a clear, enjoyable, and practical way.
For safety and quality assurance, all first lessons are conducted on the iTalki platform only. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are primarily conducted in Korean to help students naturally improve their listening and speaking skills. For complete beginners, please send me a message before booking a trial lesson to share what you would like to study so I can prepare suitable materials. For beginner-intermediate students and above, we can choose topics together through conversation and tailor lessons to your goals. Children should be able to stay engaged online; parental support may help younger learners. Please keep your camera on when possible.
