I´m Sandra, from Buenos Aires. I have been teaching languages for many, many years to a lot of different people so I´ve acquired a lot of experience. It´s not only just loving Spanish and English as languages and as a huge part of two interesting cultures. It´s helping people to feel good about learning and communicating in a language which is not their mother-tongue: that´s so so valuable and exciting! Apart from languages there are a number of things I also like a lot: travelling, working out, watching films, gardening and last but not least, sharing time with muy friends, my family and my two lovely cats. I´ve been fascinated with languages, mainly Spanish and English, since I was a kid. That´s why I´m so passionate and committed about teaching them. In my view, this is what it is about: guiding, sharing, encouraging and interchanging all we´ve got to become better and happier people. Thorughout all these years as a teacher I´ve learnt at least one thing: the center of the class is the student, so he or she should be the one who speaks and participates the most. That´s why my approach is communicative and student centered. Something which is also key, in my opinion, is fun. The more relaxed the lesson is, the easier and faster, the learning. I also believe that a variety of activities is not only engaging but really effective so I include a range of tasks to practise each skill in all possible ways.
