Native Venezuelan Spanish | Tech & Business Spanish for US Professionals | TESOL-Certified I'm Samuel, a native Venezuelan Spanish speaker, Senior Software Engineer, and TESOL/TEFL-certified language coach. I teach Spanish the way it's actually spoken in Latin American tech companies, startups, and multinational teams. Most of my students are engineers, product managers, and business professionals from the US who need Spanish to work with Latin American teams, manage remote developers, or advance their careers at companies like Nubank, Rappi, Mercado Libre, or Wise. I don't teach textbook Spanish. I teach you how to run a standup in Spanish, negotiate a contract with a Mexican supplier, read a Slack thread from your Colombian team, and build real relationships with Latin American colleagues. My background: native Venezuelan Spanish, C2 English, TESOL/TEFL certified by Arizona State University, 2000+ teaching hours, students from 20+ countries. If you're a professional who needs Spanish that works in the real world of tech and business, book a trial and let's build your plan in the first session.

😄✨ I had an absolutely amazing experience learning Spanish with this professor! He is a truly outstanding teacher — knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly passionate about what he does 😊📚 His lessons were not only well-structured but also fun, dynamic, and full of energy ✨ What I appreciated most was how he went beyond textbook Spanish and taught real Venezuelan slang and authentic accents from Venezuela and across Latin America 🌎🇻🇪 That made such a big difference in helping me understand how people actually speak in real life 😄 He is also very friendly, approachable, and supportive, which made every class feel comfortable and motivating 🙌😊 I always looked forward to our lessons! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to truly experience Spanish in a practical, cultural, and engaging way 😊✨⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Please don't use him as a tutor. Before the lesson, I explained I am upper A2 and wanted the focus to be speaking practice. Samuel agreed we would work on what I need to improve. However, he initially spoke extremely fast in Spanish — I had to ask three times within the first 15 minutes for him to slow down. After that, he switched almost entirely to English for the rest of the lesson. I continued trying to speak Spanish, but he kept responding in English, so I didn’t get meaningful speaking practice. The main takeaway was that I should immerse myself in the language, which I already knew. The lesson felt more like a language exchange where he was practicing English. I also question the C1 English level stated on his profile. I cannot recommend him as a Spanish tutor. I also found it draining to carry most of the conversation, especially when short Spanish questions led to long English answers. For feedback he just sent a copy and paste text from from chatgpt. He seems nice though.

It was a great experience. Samuel asked me a lot of questions in Spanish to get to know me. As I answered, he worked with me on how to respond correctly. As I'm still learning, it really helped that as he was speaking in Spanish he translated right after in English for me.
