Hi, I’m Kim, a native Dutch speaker from the Netherlands. Languages have always fascinated me, especially how they shape the way we think. After living in Spain and Mexico and learning Spanish myself, I discovered how powerful structured learning can be. Dutch for me isn’t just grammar or vocabulary, it’s culture, habits, history and mindset. In my lessons, you don’t just learn words, you learn how the Netherlands works and how the language truly lives.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I’m calm, structured and focused on real progress. I create a space where you can speak freely without pressure, because mistakes are part of growth. At the same time, my lessons are never random. I pay attention to patterns in your speech and guide you step by step. We don’t rush through material, we build it carefully so you actually remember it. My goal is simple: you leave each lesson feeling clearer, more confident and more in control of your Dutch.
I teach with patience and enthusiasm, and I repeat things as often as needed. My goal is that you feel supported, confident and comfortable while your Dutch gradually improves. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are inspired by learning science, especially active recall and spaced repetition. That means we don’t just learn something once and move on. We revisit it, retrieve it from memory and use it in real conversation so it truly sticks. Each lesson follows a clear structure: review, small new input, immediate speaking practice and intentional repetition. From time to time, we bring everything together so you truly remember what you learn and can use it with confidence. From A1 onward, you speak Dutch from day one. We also explore Dutch culture and daily life, so the language feels practical, natural and meaningful.My teaching material
