Hi! My name is Flora and I've been teaching Dutch for over 3 years. I am half Hungarian and half Dutch. I am currently living in Spain, while studying in English. This means I know what it is like to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture. I am studying psychology, but I have always been passionate about teaching. I love to travel which is why I also love to learn new languages myself!Me as a Teacher
I think language learning should be fun and not an obligation. This is why I will always try my best to adjust the classes to your personal goals and interests. It is important for me to create a safe environment, so you can learn from the mistakes instead of being scared to make them. Conversation is the key to learning a language and this can be done with any level! I am patient and flexible and can easily adjust myself to any level or goals. My lessons & teaching style
Because I think language is best learnt through conversation, I try to teach in an interactive and conversational style. I prefer to spend more time on practicing new grammar and spelling than just explaining it. I have a wide variety of experience in teaching Dutch, so I can adjust my lessons and teaching styles to your language goals. Homeschooling TeacherI spent 3 years teaching two girls of a French family that moved to an island in French Polynesia. The girls went to elementary school in The Netherlands and the parents wanted to continue this education with me online. We spent 8 hours a week together continuing with Dutch elementary and later middle school subjects. The main focus was for the girls to be fluent in Dutch, because the parents could only speak French.
