My name is Tae Young Park, I was born in Korea and moved to the Netherlands at the age of five. I completed my primary, middle, and secondary education and lived there for about fifteen years. In 2012, I returned back to Korea, graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), where I further strengthened my academic foundation in Dutch language studies. Because of my unique background and fluency in Dutch, English, and Korean, I have worked a lot as an interpreter, translator, and language tutor. My work has primarily focused on Dutch–Korean communication in business, media, and educational contexts.Me as a Teacher
During my university years, I tutored over 20 students from the Dutch Language Department, tailoring each lesson to their individual levels and focus areas. Two of my former students are now working at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and at KLM. They initially started at a very basic level and lacked confidence speaking a second language.
I always emphasized that language and communication are not only about perfect vocabulary or word order, but about confidently delivering your message to the listener. My students came from different levels and had their own personal goals. I observed their goals and requirements and tailored my lessons to help them achieve their final goal My lessons & teaching style
As a Dutch teacher, I focus on practical communication, structured grammar explanation, and confidence building. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether they are preparing for relocation to the Netherlands, studying abroad, improving business communication, or learning Dutch for personal interest.
My teaching approach includes:
