Hi, I'm Hanna from Germany. Thanks for reading my profile! Last year, I moved from South Germany to Japan where I continued teaching German. I enjoy learning languages a lot and hope that I can share some of that joy with you! I'm a Goethe-Institut-licensed German teacher with a bachelor's degree in linguistics and started teaching German multiple years ago. My experience includes beginner and advanced levels, ranging from grammar and conversation practice to exam preparation. In my lessons, I try to speak as much German as possible, but I can also give explanations in English, Spanish, and Japanese. Let me know what you prefer!

For me, the most important thing is to fit the lessons to your learning style and goals. It makes a big difference, if you want to practice speaking or prepare for a specific exams. Let's talk about your experience and goals in the first lesson and find the style that suits you the best!

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are a mix of learning and practicing. I will teach you new grammar and vocabulary, and we will practice them through talking and solving exercises. Materials like grammar explanations, vocabulary lists, and exercises are provided by me. In my experience, most students do not want to work exclusively with study books. We keep it fun by integrating materials and topics that interest you! If you already learned German elsewhere or by yourself, we can integrate your study materials into your future lessons, too.
