I’m Yuki—a native Japanese speaker from Japan, now based in the US. With a degree from the University of Tokyo and a background as a pharmacist, I bring both expertise and care to every lesson. My specialty is helping beginners and independent learners build a solid foundation, especially with kanji. I break down kanji into simple, memorable steps, so you’ll understand not just how to read them, but also why they work the way they do. Whether you want to travel, pass the JLPT, understand Japanese culture, or simply enjoy communicating in Japanese, I’ll tailor our lessons to your needs. My students appreciate my clear explanations, patience, and supportive teaching style—especially if you’re nervous or just starting out. For intermediate and advanced learners, I also offer lessons using Japanese news articles and other authentic materials.
