I’m a professional and certified English teacher from the United States. I’ve been teaching for over 12 years now, and I’m passionate about helping learners improve on their English language skills to gain more opportunities in their lives. I specialize in general English, Exam Preparation and Business English.Me as a Teacher
I currently only work with adults (university level and beyond) on italki. I have worked with all levels and can tailor the lessons to fit your needs and goals. My focus lately has been teaching university students who are Business majors planning on studying and working abroad. The main area of focus has been: IELTS test preparation, English for academic purposes and Business English skills for the workplace. I also have a background in IT as a software developer, and have taught the subject at the high school level, so if you need help improving your English for work in the IT field, I can help with that as well. I’m a patient and compassionate teacher that will push you and encourage you to obtain your goals. My main philosophy in the classroom is to instil confidence in my students. This class made me feel more confident! The professor was so patient and he has this warm personality that invites you to talk, he is present in what you’re saying and can tell you if makes mistakes but at the same time, makes you feel like you’re talking with a friend, so it’s easier.
