I’m a Certified ELE teacher, Master's Degree from University of Granada(Spain)with over 17 years of experience, a DELE Examiner by the Cervantes Institute. Currently I teach online & at a university in Colombia. Spanish from Latin America & Spain. All levels. Lawyers, Medical Professionals, DELE, Business, SIELE, Pronunciation, LISTENING, conversation, CULTURE. I was born in Colombia but I have lived many years in Europe, United States and South America. I’m also a citizen of Spain. My best experiences abroad involved meeting great people, finding interesting places and seeing the cultural mix in the world. My profession encompasses my favorite things: I’m a journalist and a Spanish teacher. My philosophy is: “Let’s go to work (together) side by side to achieve your language goals and reach fluency”. Let me give you support, accompaniment and motivation to walk this road. My students say that I’m very patient, organized, encouraging, funny and easy to talk to. I always try to focus on my students' language weaknesses, needs and preferences. The atmosphere in my lessons is relaxed and professional. You’ll gain confidence from our lessons, which will allow you to communicate. I have accumulated over 10,000 hours teaching Spanish (ELE) in many environments. I have worked one-on-one in private lessons, with groups at a university and online with various language-learning platforms. Elena was able to quickly access my level and come up with a lesson plan for my to score higher on an OPI test. I never felt nervous or subconsious because she gave me the right push when I needed it, and slowed down or translated when she saw I definitly did not understand.
