Learn at your own pace with a certified language teacher (German, English, Spanish) ! Hallo zusammen! I’m Sara Zaida. I was raised bilingual in Spain (German/Spanish) and have also lived in Germany and England. I majored in English and minored in Philosophy from the University of Munich and have a Master's in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from UCL. Over the past decade, I have done work as a freelance translator in all three languages. I am Cambridge CELTA-certified (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and DADIC-certified (Diploma de acreditación docente del Instituto Cervantes = acrediting diploma for the teaching of the Spanish language, awarded by the Cervantes Institute). I'm currently working on getting my language teaching certification for German, as well. I know that to many people the German language appears overwhelmingly difficult, to the point that your brain gets blocked while trying to produce a phrase, out of fear of making one of the seemingly thousands of possible mistakes. I strongly believe the most effective learning environment is the one where the student feels welcome and the teaching focuses on their actual interests and needs. So whatever level of German you’re at and whatever your goal is (being able to communicate during the holidays, improving your vocabulary/grammar/comprehension/pronunciation, feeling more confident when speaking/writing in German)… Let’s learn together!
