Dayeon is my first Korean teacher and I absolutely love our lessons together! She has a google doc she follows for each class and they're focused on different topics. She is very structured in the way she teaches, which I think is more effective when learning a new language as a beginner. I really appreciate the rules and methods she has in place, like not using romanization and focusing on learning sentences early on so that you can become comfortable speaking from the beginning. She is always super well prepared. Even when I've seen some of the material she planned to cover, I still learn so much, and she is great at adjusting the lesson and moving forward based on what I already know and what I still need to work on. She is also so cute as a person! And it's obvious that she knows what she's doing and puts a lot of thought into her teaching. I really believe you can't go wrong learning with her no matter what level you're at.

The teacher was friendly, patient, and easy to talk to. She understood my learning goals well and could relate to my interests, which made the lesson fun and engaging. I look forward to taking more lessons with her!

The teacher is very patient and will go over things as many times as it takes for you to understand. Her lessons are very structured and very beginner-friendly. She will go over her expectations, what later plans will look like, and homework. She also tried to align the lessons to your interests to make the classes more intersting and practical. Highly recommend!
