I teach adults and children. I am a native English speaker from Houston, Texas, USA. My first experience in teaching English was a class for Spanish speakers. I hold a bachelor's degree in Anthropology with minor in Spanish and I have an associate's degree in Cybersecurity. I am a certified EC-6 Teacher in Texas. I am very eager to help you meet your goals with English or Math. I teach kids and adults and I offer a lot of fun and interesting class choices!Me as a Teacher
I am TESOL certified and have my certificate to teach Young Learners. My teaching experience is in teaching piano to students of all ages and classroom teaching. In this profession, I’ve acquired patience, creativity, and knowledge when it comes to tailoring lessons to students’ needs and finding ways to engage even the youngest students. I enjoy learning new things! We can talk about anything. I love running, archery, curling, scuba diving, sailing, ice skating, flying drones, piano, and learning languages.My lessons & teaching style
To keep lessons fun and interesting, I like to use audio files, videos, interesting articles, games, presentation slides, and role play. I'm patient, energetic, and like structure so I'll plan the lessons to focus on your needs and goals. I enjoy teaching children, especially beginners! I am currently teaching:
- Conversational English for Adults - we can do student-led talk or structured speaking activities.
- General Kids English - grammar, reading, writing, speaking, listening
- Handwriting for Kids - how to produce print and cursive using the Latin alphabet
- Trial Lesson - I gather as much information as possible before the lesson so I can use the entire session teaching.My teaching material

Adult Class ESL TeacherTaught the beginner level class for English as a Second Language. Most of the instruction was given in Spanish and as the students progressed the instruction gradually switched to English.

Owner and InstructorI own a music studio where I and other teachers give lessons in piano, guitar, voice, and various string instruments. I've been teaching music (instrumental and theory) to children and adults since 2000 but opened the school in 2008.
