My name is Kateasha, and I'm a certified teacher with experience teaching English to students of all ages and levels. I hold an Advanced TEFL certification from the University of New Mexico–Albuquerque and studied Communications at Langston University. My experience includes teaching Business English to professionals in Mexico, working as a public-school math tutor to ESL students in the United States, and teaching an online speaking club to middle school students in Istanbul, Turkey. I believe English learning should be practical, engaging, and personalized. My Business English lessons focus on confident communication, pronunciation, professional vocabulary, grammar, and real-world workplace situations. I create a supportive, engaging environment where students can practice speaking naturally, ask questions, make mistakes, and build the confidence they need to communicate effectively in meetings, presentations, interviews, and everyday professional interactions. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, journaling, and scrapbooking. Most of all, I love to travel and explore different cultures. I bring that same curiosity and appreciation for diverse perspectives into my lessons, creating opportunities for students to connect English with the world around them.
