Passionate Romanian teacher who also speaks English, French and Mandarin Hi! I’m Lorena, a native Romanian speaker and a passionate polyglot who loves languages, cultures, and real conversations. I believe the best way to learn a language is to actually experience it. That’s why my lessons go beyond textbooks and grammar exercises. We’ll use authentic videos, films, books, interviews, music, and real-life conversations to help you understand how Romanian is actually spoken. As a polyglot myself, I know how it feels to learn a foreign language, and I believe this helps me understand my students’ needs and challenges on a deeper level. I may even be able to give explanations in your own language, as I’m fluent in English, French, and Mandarin Chinese! My goal? To help you stop translating in your head and start expressing yourself naturally in Romanian 🇷🇴

I really enjoyed my lesson with Lorena! I was able to have some great conversational practice and she was able to identity and guide me through the mistakes I was making. I learned some new useful words with her too. I’m looking forward to our next lesson. Mulțumesc Lorena!
