¡Hola! I’m Paola, a native speaker of Spanish. I teach Spanish and literature to children, teens, and adults. I'm ready to help you to learn one of the best options of speaking Spanish that you can achieve: the neutral accent of Bogotá, Colombia. I love languages and teaching. In fact, I studied Spanish and Foreign Languages at the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional. I speak some English and French, which will make the interaction and development of classes easier. I guarantee, that they will always be productive, entertaining, and enjoyable. As a foreign language student, I understand and can help you overcome the various difficulties that arise when learning a new language.Me as a Teacher
I am a patient, understanding, and dynamic teacher. Whether your goal is to speak or read in Spanish correctly, working with me will help you reach each of the objectives that you propose. I will support you with many resources like songs, movies, books, and whatever material to make your learning process easier. The natural language learning process is a deep mental process that connects you intimately to each country and its culture and history. Because of this, I will teach you about the Hispanic culture. This will be essential to understand where, how, and which phrases you should use. By studying Spanish with me, you will have the appropriate context to practice and enjoy the language. Every student is a universe unto themselves, requiring specific conditions to improve their abilities in a second language. With this in mind, I adapt each lesson to the needs of my students to provide the ideal learning environment. The foundation of my lessons is conversation, because I want my students to be able to express their ideas, thoughts, and opinions with confidence. Moreover, through conversation, we discover the grammatical elements that need work, to improve their capacity for discourse in the target language. With consideration for the available time of my students, I also assign various assignments and activities that enable them to keep their Spanish skills active.My teaching material
