I’ve been taking Japanese lessons with Kaori-san for a few months now, and she is a great teacher! Kind, helpful, patient, humorous, and just a sweet person all around. Her lessons can be as structured or as informal as you like, but she always makes sure you get lots of opportunity to practice by speaking. She’s happy to take as much time as you need to answer questions or review things until you’re comfortable, and is very generous with her time outside of class if you have even more questions, which i often do! I look forward to every lesson! かおりさん、ありがとうございます！

Had an amazing lesson with Kaori today. She really makes the lessons enjoyable as we reviewed and reinforced material from previous lessons. She took extra effort to ensure I understood everything before moving on. The role playing was an invaluable exercise allowing me strengthen my Japanese comprehension. She was super patient encouraging me to self correct my errors AND time to process the learning. The best parts of the lesson were when she said "すごい” to some of my Japanese responses. At the conclusion of our lesson, although still very much a beginner, I left feeling confident, motivated, and looking forward to our next lesson.

Kaori Ito sensei is amazing!! I have had multiple lessons with her now and I learn so much valuable information each lesson. She provides so much good knowledge in such a short time (but not overwhelming :) !) so I am extra thankful for her. She is very encouraging, supportive, and patient even if I mess up words or do not remember some. It is clear she cares about her students and that she is engaged in our goals and interests. She is the best!! ありがとうございます!!!

I've been taking lessons with Kaori-san for many months now and she is always so patient and helpful. I never feel nervous talking to her. Our lessons are always a lot of fun and I'm improving with her help.

Kaori is an amazing teacher and a wonderful conversationalist! It’s always a great time catching up, and I really appreciate the corrections and tips I receive, which have improved my speech from functional to natural. いつもありがとう〜！

I was nervous during trial lesson however Kaori was surprisingly easy to talk to and introduced me to the language quite well. Have booked next lessons and hope to continue learning with Kaori!
