Professional Language Educator | Multilingual & International Experience Hello! My name is David, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. Besides Spanish, I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and German. I’m a professional engineer, and in my free time, playing soccer, and learning new languages. I am a friendly, respectful, and approachable person who loves sharing my language and culture with others. Traveling and meeting people from diverse backgrounds inspire me, and I am passionate about helping students improve their Spanish skills. I believe in creating a positive, engaging environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. With experience traveling, living, and working in various countries, I bring a global perspective to my teaching. Speaking English, Portuguese, and German in addition to my native Spanish allows me to relate to the challenges of language learning. My approach focuses on creating a supportive, engaging environment where you can feel confident to practice and make mistakes as part of the learning process. Before starting the lesson, let me know if there’s a specific topic you’d like to focus on and your Spanish level. This helps me prepare the lesson and materials according to your needs, whether for travel, work, or general improvement. We can discuss any topic that interests you, and I’ll correct your grammar during or at the end of the lesson. I’ll also help you expand your vocabulary and improve your pronunciation so you can sound more natural.

Just met David for a trial lesson! Already, we were talking in Spanish and I was able to learn in a very hands-on way. I have trouble with the tenses, so David was very patient and helped show me the correct way. Even though it was the trial session, he gave me some worksheets to start practicing with, which is great. I was very nervous for the lesson, but he was very nice and a great teacher. Would definitely recommend!

David is an amazing teacher. The time goes so quick when we have a lesson. It's like speaking with a friend. I've been on italki for a long time - and he's definitely a teacher I'd recommend to anyone.
