Having Mexican roots but not having been exposed to the country and culture’s history and development, I have often felt left out in conversations and somewhat disconnected from my Mexican family and friends. Ivonne is helping me bridge that nuanced gap with far deeper insight than I’ve ever pursued, all while discovering the bits of grammar and vocabulary I’ve been missing. Fascinating conversation today on the topic of International Women’s Day, its marches, its purpose and musings on the varying degrees of the woman experience worldwide ❤️ Thank you with all my heart!

she shared her screen, and we worked on practice problems and read through stories/questions together. she was very patient and easy to talk to. we talked in spanish the entire time. other than a few technical difficulties, lesson went well.

Ivonne es una maestra muy paciente y simpática. Ella es fácil de entender y se explica bien. Hemos tenido conversaciones interesantes y siempre tengo ganas por la clase que viene.

I had a great lesson with Ivonne. She's very interesting, and easy to chat with and understand. The audio quality was good. Fun conversation, I look forward to the next lesson. Until next week!
