I had experienced as a tutor in 2018-2019 at the language and culture services center (INCULS) at university. Since 2020, I have taught Bahasa Indonesia, Javanese, and English in Italki Apps. After graduating in 2020 from the Indonesian Language and Literature of Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, I published some research that you may check through ResearchGate. Moreover, I am also teaching Indonesian for Non-native Speakers under "Sanggar Bahasa" (Language Institution) in Yogyakarta.

Hahaha my first Bahasa Indonesia lesson!
Yacub explained the pronunciation rules and the differences between words (e.g. tidak and bukan) very clearly and patiently. And also from this lesson I learned a bunch of new words and useful expressions.

Mas Yacub has been a wonderful teacher for my 12-year-old son. He found a way to engage his interest with Indonesian comics as well as practicing conversation. He has always been 100% punctual and engaged and willing to accommodate time differences between the US and Indonesia. Highly recommended!

Mas Yacub is a very engaging and capable teacher who clearly has a lot of experience teaching classes. The classes have been very relaxed, but Mas Yacub is obviously very knowledgable about the Indonesian and Javanese language and has a good command over the English language as well, which enables him to clearly explain the differences between different vocabulary. He is also very openminded culturally and seems able to cater to a wide variety of students from different backgrounds. Very recommended, a good combination between informal teaching and professional skills.
