Native Italian and Serbian speaker, fluent in English. My lessons are easygoing and fun, try one :) Ciao! My name is Alex, and I have both Italian and Serbian roots. I’m a native speaker of Italian and Serbian and after spending 12 wonderful years living in Ireland, I’ve become fluent in English as well. I live in Italy with my partner, and we enjoy sharing everything this beautiful country has to offer. My lessons are easygoing and fun: we can read and understand stories to expand your vocabulary, we can practice or learn grammar rules or we can speak about a topic you like to improve your conversation skills. All the learning material is provided by me and I also provide practicing exercises as homework assignments, if you desire to do so :) If you have questions, message me on Italki and I'll reply asap! I’m a tech-savvy person who loves staying up to date with the latest trends in technology. I'm also a Linux lover and I’m always eager to learn and discuss what’s next. When I’m not updating on tech, you’ll probably find me immersed in a good book or binge-watching TV series and movies, I’m a true addict when it comes to great storytelling on screen or paper :) I love trekking to remote places. There’s something magic about being surrounded by nature and listening to its calming sounds. I also like sharing stories from Italian culture, food, travel, and the unique traditions that make Italy so special. If you’re curious about Italy, its language and culture, or just want to chat about movies, the latest tech, or anything that you like, just book a lesson :)

I have been studying with Alex for many months now (nearly 1 year) and he is excellent. I could not recommend him and his methods enough especially for English-speaking students. :)

Alex is a great tutor! He is very patient with my beginning Italian and easily switches to English when I need some extra help. I look forward to more lessons with Alex.

Alex is fantastic — well-prepared, good-humored, and genuinely thoughtful. Every lesson is engaging, whether we’re chatting, reading or tackling tricky Italian grammar. He has a real gift for breaking down complex concepts, gives helpful homework and feedback, and has endless patience for my questions. I’ve learned so much studying with him and always leave class encouraged and excited to keep going. Couldn't recommend him more!!!!

Alex is a wonderful Italian teacher. He is very patient, and our conversations flow so naturally. He always explains corrections clearly and writes down new/difficult words or expressions in the chat, which makes it easy to review afterward. Highly recommend him!
