Mauro

Mauro is a first-rate teacher and very friendly, patient, and encouraging. He also has a thorough command of English in addition to his native Spanish, which allows him to explain very clearly any confusions you might be experiencing. His classes are fun and full of laughter. If you’re looking for someone to help you reach your Spanish goals, he’s a great choice.

I seriously love the energy that Mau brings to every lesson, and he explains SUPER complicated things really well, like the confusing grammar rules of Spanish... but he does it in a fun and clear way, so the time flies by very fast :) AND he has the cutest gato!!!!

Mauro is absolutely excellent. I've done a good number of lessons with him at this point and have felt that my skills with Spanish are greatly improving! He's very focused and helpful at answering questions and providing materials to work on. He's very easy to talk to and practice with. I highly recommend this teacher!

Learning Spanish with Mauro is a wonderful experience. His joy is contagious, which makes our lessons something I genuinely look forward to. His encouraging, supportive nature is definitely a bonus, especially on those days when I keep tripping over my words (which happens more often than I'd like to admit! 😅). Mauro listens closely and patiently helps me out when I’m speaking gibberish. He’s got a knack for breaking down grammar in a way that actually makes sense. Plus, I really like how he casually slips in relatable cultural tidbits during our conversational lessons. For me, this is what sets him apart, his ability to weave social topics into our conversations. It makes our conversations (and mind you, I’m at a beginner Spanish level) captivating and it has me picking up vocab that goes beyond the typical textbook fare.
