Hi, my name is Gea. I am a linguist, translator & teacher. I speak English, Spanish, French, Italian & German. I was born in Italy but grew up around the world, which gave me the possibility to learn all the languages I speak. I have a C2 level in English, Spanish & Italian, C1 in French & B2 in German. I love to teach and I want to give the best lessons to my students, as a matter of fact, in the first lesson I want to know the student, hear him/her, in order to make tailored lessons and prepare the correct material to be used I prepare tailored lessons in order to help them learn a foreign language, which is a very difficult task for a dyslexic student.

Me as a Teacher

As a teacher, in the last 25 years of experience, I've come across many different students. I currently teach English in an English school here in Italy, that's the reason my availability was limitated in the last year. Each one of them has their own characteristics and learning capacities. I try to elaborate custom methods together with the student, in order to reach the best learning procedure to use, from schematizations to memory methods, linguistic assonance and much more. I think that each student has a great potential and that the best teacher is the teacher that is able to take this potential and make it grow!

My lessons & teaching style

Winter 2024/2025 ltd availability I provide highly customizable lessons for all the languages I teach. My classes are custom-tailored to my student's needs & personal interests. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to speak it. During our lessons, we will talk about your interests (music, movies, news, etc.) & I will teach you how to speak a language easily. I am specialized in teaching DYSLEXIC students. I prepare tailored lessons in order to help them learn a foreign language, which is a very difficult task. PLEASE NOTE THE CANCELLATION POLICY: - Lessons must be paid in case of absence - 15+ minutes of absence = no show - Packages must be fully paid if not completed

I found Gea to be a very supportive and insightful teacher. Very quickly Gea understood and interpreted my language intentions. I was surprised by, and put at the ease by, the skill with which she identified and managed my limited knowledge of the Italian language. I am delighted that within such a short space of time I was able to understand and also to make myself understood.

The Italki App connection went down several times. I loved the teacher and plan to take classes with her but we won't do the class on the App, but on Skype. Must work in improving the quality of the calls!
