Hey everyone and welcome to my profile!
I’m a passionate language teacher fluent in Russian, German and Japanese, and speak three other languages: English, French, Italian, and a little bit od Korean. Growing up in a small village in Siberia, living in Japan, and now in Berlin, I’ve immersed myself in diverse cultures. With a background in linguistics and years of experience, I’ve discovered how learning new languages can truly open your mind and shape who you are.

As a trained linguist with many years of experience, I’ve had the joy of teaching students from all walks of life. From Russian and German at a Japanese university to shaping a Russian coursebook and teaching across Germany, Russia, and Japan, my journey has been all about helping people unlock new languages.
I’m known for my patience and love for making even the trickiest language rules—like grammar—easy to understand. Whether you’re stuck on a word or curious about culture, I’m here to guide you. But what I enjoy most is watching my students’ progress (I know it sounds a bit cheezy :)) —but it’s the best part of teaching, knowing that every step forward brings a new sense of achievement.My lessons & teaching style
In my classes, I focus on the communicative method, meaning you'll be engaging in conversation from day one. Don’t worry—grammar and tricky linguistic features will be explained in a way that makes sense, also in a shared language if needed.
I love weaving cultural elements into lessons, so you’ll not only learn the language but also gain insight into the country’s way of life. My teaching style is flexible and student-centered—each lesson is tailored to your personal goals and learning pace.
