I’m a father in my 40s with two children, and I’ve been happily married since 2007. I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, and I’m a native English speaker. I’m also learning my wife’s native language from the Philippines, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language. My parents migrated from Sri Lanka in the 1970s, and I value cultural diversity and communication. I hold a Level 5 TEFL certification and am qualified to teach English online and in the classroom. As a former italki student, I understand the learning process and enjoy helping others build confidence. Me as a Teacher I’m a qualified ESL teacher focused on helping students become confident and independent English speakers. My teaching style is relaxed, conversational, and tailored to each student. I create a comfortable environment where you can speak freely and improve naturally. My Lessons & Teaching Style Lessons are tailored to your interests—such as travel, animals, aircraft, or current events—so they stay engaging and relevant.
