Herr Zook hat mir viel geholfen, ein Vorstellungsgespräch zu vorbereiten. Er ist sehr gedulg und ich habe mit ihm viel über die Business Deutsche Sprache und die deutsche Arbeitskultur gelernt. Vielen Danke !

I am a retired University Professor of Linguistics and I have studied many languages in my life. Rod has been extremely helpful in this new German language venture of mine. There are many things I like about working with Rod. His language background is perfect for me. Because he originally went to school to study the German language (as opposed to being a German native speaker), he has already been along the road I'm on right now. As a result he understands where I’m coming from and can quickly show me the easiest and most practical way to say something in German. He uses his vast experience teaching English to German speakers to explain the lexical and grammatical aspects of the language that are the same as well as those which are different from English. Rod is friendly, patient and resourceful. Those are extremely important features of a good teacher. Finally I want to say that the one hour lesson invariably goes extremely fast. I think it’s because we are also having a lot of fun. I feel lucky to have Rod Zook as my German language teacher.

Rod is an excellent language expert. Based on my complete beginner level and considering my major background, he designed a German learning plan tailored for me. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to communicate with such an intelligent and experienced multilingual expert on the italki platform. Also Rod is extremely kind and friendly, even though I showed up almost completely unprepared, he managed to organize a full hour of teaching seamlessly. It was really a rewarding experience!

Herr Zook ist ein super Lehrer! Er hat sich gut auf mein Interview-Training vorbereitet und mich Schritt für Schritt sehr freundlich angeleitet. Außerdem hat er während des Unterrichts Notizen gemacht, was mir beim Nacharbeiten total hilft. Das Gespräch mit ihm war sehr angenehm. Er ist erfahren, klug und einfach sympathisch!
