Hey there! I'm Dina, a certified and experienced Spanish teacher from Colombia. I have lived abroad and worked with groups of all ages and backgrounds. I can offer you a safe space to learn and gain confidence since I have been in the same place as you. Let's do it!

As a foreigner living abroad, I could understand how difficult to learn a language can be. Because of this, my classes are oriented to enhance the student’s confidence and fluency.
Given my communications background, I mainly focus in speaking. I also offer a solid grammar program, but always oriented to practical situations in the students' life. For classes, my teaching style is based in the PPP method (Presentation, Practice, Production) - a Communication Language Teaching approach.

Dina is a fantastic teacher. We have just completed our sixth lesson with her and she is always well prepared, engaging and makes the sessions so enjoyable. Dina has taken on teaching my husband and I (in our 40's) alongside our 2 children (aged 10 and 12). We are all beginner and we cannot believe how fun the lessons are or how much we are learning - thank you Dina!

Professor Dina was great to talk to! I told her I was nervous and she was very accomodating. She was able to help me when I couldn't remember how to say certain words in Spanish, and she clearly enjoys teaching. We discussed homework, my Spanish level, and what she would help me with moving forward. I recommend her!
