My name is Joshua Mshani. I’m Swahili native speaker based in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. I'm Professional Swahili teacher with over 7 years of teaching experience, Certified by National Council of Kiswahili of Tanzania (BAKITA) to teach Swahili to foreigners of all levels such as Beginners, Intermediate, High Intermediate and Advance.
I have taught both individuals and professionals from different backgrounds, including diplomats, embassy staff, and international organizations such as the United Nations, international banks, and schools. I have also helped a Polish ambassador successfully pass the BAKITA Swahili exam.
I focus on helping students speak Swahili confidently in real-life
I have worked with both individual students and professionals from various international institutions. Some of my students include diplomats and staff from organizations such as embassies (including Poland, France, Finland, Norway, and Belgium), the United Nations, international banks like First National Bank (FNB) and Standard Chartered, as well as institutions like the International School of Tanganyika (IST), CCBRT Hospital, DFID, the European Union, GIZ, and others.
I have also helped a Polish ambassador successfully pass the BAKITA Swahili exam for diplomatic purposes.
My teaching style, first thing is to try to know the level of the student
