I completed a 150 hour Master Teaching English as a Foreign Language Course, and I am a TEFL/TESOL Certified English Tutor. Over the years I have helped many students of various ages improve their English. My interest in becoming an English Tutor began ten years ago when I had the opportunity to spend time living in Belize Central America for a couple of years. During the time I spent outside the United States, I realized how important it was for English language learners to practice speaking with a native English speaker. The people I met around the world inspired me to develop my positive approach to helping students learn English, drawing from the knowledge and experience I gained traveling internationally, working in Global Business Communications, as well as working as a public-school ESL Tutor. I believe that practice, constructive feedback, and consistent motivation are critical elements in successfully learning English.
