I’m Jess, a Mexican Spanish teacher/part-time traveller. Proud of being both, because travelling has taught me a lot about communication, especially when you **don’t** speak the language perfectly. I’ve been the person who didn’t understand what someone was saying, had no idea how to open a door, couldn’t figure out where the bathroom was, or had to find five different ways to explain something that should have been simple. And honestly, those experiences have made me a better teacher. I know what it feels like to be nervous, embarrassed, or afraid of making mistakes when speaking another language. So when you’re learning Spanish with me, you don’t have to worry about being perfect. I’ve made plenty of mistakes myself! My goal is to create the kind of relaxed environment where you can actually *talk, make mistakes, laugh about them, and keep going*, until speaking Spanish starts feeling natural.
