Hello! How are you? I am a Spanish speaker from Venezuela, but I have been living in the beautiful city of Santa Marta, Colombia, for a few years. I am a teacher by vocation and profession, with over 9 years of experience in education and approximately 6 years teaching Spanish online. I have also worked as an occupational therapist here in Colombia.
My favorite hobbies include studying and learning various skills, learning more about God, spending time with my family, shopping, and visiting new places. My dream is to travel the world, and I have had the opportunity to visit the capitals of Ecuador, Trinidad, and Curaçao.Me as a Teacher
I have the advantage of having gained experience teaching in the classroom, applying innovative strategies that will help you consolidate more rapidly the grammar taught. I am patient, and I like to listen. I am warm and friendly, and strive to correct in a consistent manner, so that my students speak better after each lesson. My classes have a relaxed feel so that you will feel comfortable and confident.
My classes are entirely in Spanish, which promotes complete immersion in the language and helps you think in Spanish from the very beginning.My lessons & teaching style
I have the experience to facilitate rapid consolidation of grammar and oral fluency. I strive to provide consistent corrections, creating a relaxed and safe environment for practice and progress. I master Spanish grammar, not only because I am a native speaker, but also because of my years of experience and the progress and fluency of my students. Profe Eli takes her time to explain you everything in a calm and pleasant manner, making learning an enjoyable experience.
We also talked about the political and economic situation in Venezuela and Columbia, which is very interesting for me, coming from Austria, a completely different country.
