Hello! My name is Lourdes and I’m from Argentina. I’m currently living in Mendoza, a southern province near the Andes, the mountains. My background is related with art and design, so I’m into a variety of arts disciplines, such as music, films, architecture, photography or painting. I love to know about different cultures and to meet people from all over the globe, thus travelling is one of my other big passions in life! I was an art exchange student, living and studying abroad, so I perfectly understand the problems or difficulties that you might have while you are learning my mother tongue.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Lourdes is a true gem. Learning a new language is more than just being able to speak; it's about the people and cultures of those who speak the language. If you're looking for the most patient, thoughtful, and encouraging Spanish teacher on italki, look no further than Lourdes. Seriously, take a class with her and you'll see how possible it is to learn another language. I could barely say a full sentence when I started working with her. Now, we talk nonstop for a full hour completely in Spanish making jokes and telling stories and having profound conversations. Like many, my journey of learning Spanish was filled with stops and starts. But it's her generous spirit, artistic flare, and welcoming personality that always brought me back to the language and the culture. Lourdes is truly the best Spanish teacher. I originally started lessons to learn some spanish before a trip to Argentina. Even after my trip, I have continued to have lessons with Lourdes, because I enjoy them so much. We discuss lots of interesting subjects and the focus on conversation in our classes has given me so much confidence with speaking Spanish, as well as increasing my vocabulary. If you are thinking about learning Spanish, definitely book a lesson with Lourdes. Learn an amazing language with an equally amazing teacher! :D
