Hello!
I am a professional language teacher and hold an MA degree in second language acquisition, specialized in teaching adults. I have studied and worked at several universities in Europe teaching foreign languages and have taught students from literally all over the world, which has given me a deeper insight in numerous learning strategies.

I strongly believe that for a successful learning, the student has to enjoy the classes: this is why my goal is to adapt the teaching depending on your needs, interests and previous knowledge and, according to my students, I'm pretty good at it! For me, learning a new language is like undertaking an exciting journey into the unknown, discovering new cultures, creating bridges between people and enriching our world view, therefore, I sincerely expect that you'll enjoy your journey!My lessons & teaching style
• You will have all the learning material you need available online
• The trial class helps me to analyze your language level and create, together with you, a course that suits you best
• I teach teenagers and adults
• I also offer specialized lessons, e.g. if you want to improve your pronunciation, need to expand your vocabulary in a specific area, are only interested in conversation, need proof-reading etc.
CANCELLATION POLICY
I would appreciate a 24h notice, otherwise I will have to charge the lesson.
If you are more than 10 min late for a 60 min lesson and I haven’t heard from you previously, I’ll consider the lesson as complete (5 min in case of 30 or 45min lesson / trial class).My teaching material

I have had six Swedish lessons with Danilo and by far made the most progress with him as compared to any other tutor (and I’ve had quite a few). Having lived in Sweden for 4.5 years and trying to learn Swedish many times, this is the first tutor who makes me feel comfortable speaking in my broken Swedish. Danilo always has a lesson plan which is tailored to my strengths and weaknesses, and he knows how to push me to improve. I would highly recommend Danilo if you’re looking for a language teacher.. he is very skilled and professional.

I've been learning Swedish with Danilo for over a year by now. Danilo is very supportive, patient and encouraging. There is both a nice conversation practice and new vocabulary/phrases/grammar/concepts every time, introduced either as we go if it's relevant, or explained separately in detail. Every lesson feels useful, regardless of if I'm having a good brain day or a bad/tired brain day. I'm genuinely enjoying these lessons a lot!
