Hi, I'm Joanna!
I'm originally from Poland but I currently live in Malaga in the south of Spain. Polish is my mother tongue, but because I lived in London for several years, I am also fluent in English. In addition, because of where I live now, I am also learning Spanish.
I love travelling, especially to Asia, and I can't live without sport: I run, lift weights and train Fitboxing, which is popular in Spain.
In my free time I also read books, preferably psychological and developmental ones, but also crime fiction for entertainment.
I work in marketing, social media and event organisation. I love planning, working with people and all other creative activities.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I am understanding and patient. I believe that there are no stupid questions and that it is better to ask something even ten times and finally understand it, than not to ask at all and remain in ignorance. My lessons & teaching style
I will tailor each lesson to your needs and interests, as well as the learning style that suits you best.
We will focus primarily on conversation, as I know from experience that this is the best way to memorise and break down the speaking barrier. We can also practice reading, solving grammar tasks, writing texts - it's all up to you and we'll discuss on the first meeting!My teaching material

Joanna jest bardzo cierpliwą i sympatyczną nauczycielką. Już od kilku lat uczę się polskiego, ale miałam na pewno potrzebę poprawić język! W każdej lekcji rozmawiamy o różnych rzeczach i czuję, że czas bardzo szybko lata. Ma zrelaksowany styl i szybko ci pomaga, kiedy popełniasz błędy. Ja bardzo polecam Joanna i będzie jeszcze zarezerwować lekcje.

I liked the lesson with Joanna very much! I took the conversational lesson, the time flew by quickly because it was very interesting to talk to her. Joanna has a gift of listening, she asks good questions, corrects mistakes gently, and is overall a warm, easy-going person. Highly recommend☺️

I've had several lessons with Joanna now and I really enjoy her teaching style. She's energetic and supportive, and understands how difficult it is to learn a language that is so different from my native language. No matter how bad I think I did in the lesson, I always come away feeling like "I can learn Polish!"
